New Delhi: Bajaj Auto is gearing up to launch a new bike in the 125cc segment, aimed at taking on the TVS Raider and Hero Xtreme 125R, which are rapidly gaining traction in the premium 125cc market. According to reports, the company plans to unveil the latest version of its popular Pulsar model, the Pulsar N125.
The official launch date has been set for October 16. While the specific model has not been confirmed, it is widely anticipated that the new bike will be the Pulsar N125, which has been spotted multiple times during testing. With the launch date now confirmed, let’s take a look at the standout features expected in this bike.
It has already been revealed from the
leaked images have indicated that this new Bajaj bike will be sporty, agile, and stylish. Currently, the company offers the Pulsar 125 Standard and Pulsar NS 125 in its lineup. With the introduction of the Pulsar N125, Bajaj will expand its 125cc range to three models. The Pulsar N125 is designed with a sporty aesthetic, primarily targeting younger riders.
The bike is expected to feature ABS
The Bajaj Pulsar N125 is poised to be a premium commuter. Spy photos suggest it will showcase muscular fuel tank extensions, a split seat, and two-piece grab rails. Additionally, it will be equipped with an LED headlamp and LED tail light. To compete with other premium bikes in the segment, the company is likely to include advanced features such as ABS braking, though it is expected to come with single-channel ABS.
The Engine Will Be Key
The new Pulsar N125 is expected to feature the same 125cc, single-cylinder engine found in the current Pulsar 125. However, this engine may be tuned to enhance the bike’s sporty character, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The expected ex-showroom price for this motorcycle is around ₹90,000 to ₹1 lakh.
Braking hardware is likely to include disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear, with the single-channel ABS variant potentially offering rear disc brakes as well. For suspension, the bike will come equipped with telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock unit at the rear. In terms of features, a digital console with smartphone connectivity and Bluetooth is also anticipated.

New Delhi: EMotorad, an electric vehicle company founded by cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, has launched the T-Rex Pro electric bicycle in India. The company asserts that this bicycle incorporates advanced technology and is also working on establishing India’s largest Giga factory for electric bikes.
The T-Rex Pro is notable as the first electric bicycle to feature fully integrated handlebars, LED lights, indicators, a flashlight function, a horn, and an LCD display. Priced at ₹52,999 (ex-showroom), this electric bicycle boasts several unique features that set it apart from competitors.
Equipped with Advanced Features
The T-Rex Pro electric bicycle features an LCD that displays real-time speed, range, battery life, riding modes, and other user-friendly information. It is available in three vibrant colors: Deep Purple, Spring Green, and Ocean Blue, all boasting a striking pearl finish that glimmers in the light.
Lifetime Warranty on Frame
Constructed with a durable aluminum alloy frame, the T-Rex Pro comes with a lifetime warranty on its frame. Customers can choose between two wheel sizes: 27.5 inches and 29 inches. The 27.5-inch model is designed for quick acceleration and short, fast rides, while the 29-inch variant offers better range and is ideal for longer journeys.
Range, Battery, and Charging Time
The T-Rex Pro features a 7-speed Shimano Altus gear system, powered by a 13Ah lithium battery and a 250-watt rear-hub electric motor. The company claims that this battery provides a driving range of approximately 70 km with pedal assist and 45 km when using the throttle alone.
Charging the T-Rex Pro’s battery takes about 4 to 6 hours to reach full capacity. Additionally, it comes equipped with cut-off brake levers and can support a load of up to 110 kg.
