On Friday, Australia trounced Pakistan by nine wickets in the Twenty20 World Cup match. Australia now has six points after winning three straight games. They are now a serious threat to go to the semifinals. Australia’s final game is with India. Pakistan is virtually eliminated from the competition with this loss.

Pakistan was all out for 82 runs in 19.5 overs while batting first. Australia lost one wicket in the process of chasing the target. After scoring 37 runs, captain Alyssa Healy retired due to injury. Meanwhile, Alyssa Perry scored 22 runs and was still undefeated.

The number of Pakistani batsmen to achieve double digits was only four. In 3.4 overs, Pakistan lost their first wicket. Muniba Ali, the opener, made his way back to the pavilion with a score of 13. Sadab Samas was also out on eighteen runs after that. In six overs, the Pakistani squad was unable to score a single boundary. After making 39 runs, half of the Pakistani team made it back to the pavilion. Only three players scored in double figures: Iram Javed (12 runs), Nida Dar (10 runs), and Sidra Amin (12 runs).

Ashleigh Gardner claimed the most number of four wickets for Australia.

In four overs, Ashleigh Gardner claimed four wickets for 19 runs, while Georgia Wareham and Annabel Sutherland both claimed two wickets.

Following the loss of her father, Pakistani captain Fatima Sana returned to her family. Due to her father’s passing, Pakistan’s regular captain Fatima Sana was forced to return to Karachi, and Diana Baig is sidelined after being hurt in the opening game.

It is official that Australia will advance from Group A to the semi-finals. New Zealand and India are also competitors. While New Zealand and India are fighting for the second spot, it is nearly a given that Australia will advance from Group A to the semi-finals. After three games, Team India has four points with a net run of +0.576. India will play Australia in their next match. It will be simpler for India to go to the semi-finals if they lose this game.

Pakistan and Sri Lanka are the opponents for New Zealand’s two games. It will have little trouble getting to the semifinals if it wins both games.

Pakistan’s ambitions in this group have been dashed. After three games and one victory, the team has two points. Pakistan will play New Zealand in one match. If it triumphs, it will have to hope that both India and New Zealand lose to Australia in the following match. Next, with four points apiece for India and New Zealand, the second-place team will be determined by run rate.

The run rate of Pakistan is lower than that of New Zealand and India.

Three teams are competing in Group B. South Africa and the West Indies have won two of the three games they have played and are ranked in the top two. Despite winning both games, England’s net run rate put them in third position in the standings. The three teams are competing to get to the semi-finals.

Women’s T20 World Cup: The skipper of Pakistan is receiving praise and salutations for doing the same thing that Sachin Tendulkar accomplished.

Delhi, New. The skipper of Pakistan, who is virtually eliminated from the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, has made a very brave move. On October 14, Pakistan’s captain Fatima Sana will make her way back to Dubai for the pivotal encounter with New Zealand. Sana’s father passed away on October 10, therefore she had to go back home. Muniba Ali led the team in her absence since she did not play in the match against Australia.

Australia, the current champions, defeated Pakistan by nine wickets while the skipper was away. Pakistan were all out for just 82 runs, showing how much they missed their youthful all-round player. In 11 overs, Australia reached the goal.

During the World Cup, Sachin’s father passed away.

A cricket player has before set aside personal sorrow to represent the team on a major platform. Following his father’s passing, the legendary Sachin Tendulkar returned to India from England during the 1999 men’s ODI World Cup. After joining his squad again, he defeated Kenya with a century that sealed the victory.

Diana Baig, a senior pacer, will not play in this important match against New Zealand. Her right calf muscle injury, sustained during the opening match of the competition on October 3 versus Sri Lanka, has not yet healed. Sana’s presence is even more vital to Pakistan’s hopes of winning against New Zealand in Baig’s absence.

Naziha Alvi, a batsman and wicketkeeper, was recruited to the team with the agreement of the ICC. Naziha has participated in eight T20 games and twelve ODIs. She has scored 170 runs at an average of 21.25 in the ODI format. She hasn’t scored more than ten in four innings in T20 yet.
